Google ships Gemini Flash for production agents

In its July update Google introduced new Gemini models for teams building production agents: Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite and 3.5 Flash Cyber — with higher token efficiency, lower latency and more reliable performance in agentic scenarios.

AlphaEvolve — a Gemini-powered code-optimization agent — also became generally available to all Google Cloud customers: it takes a baseline algorithm and automatically searches for a better solution, returning human-readable optimized code. The Gemini Spark tool was expanded to handle complex web errands.
