Google pushes Gemini 3.5 Pro release to July

Google pushed back the launch of Gemini 3.5 Pro, promised at Google I/O on May 19. The model is now expected in July 2026.

The company attributes the delay to feedback from enterprise testers about excessive token consumption in extended agentic scenarios.
